His Island Outreach
His Island Outreach (HIO) is a Christ-centered, charitable ministry devoted to the physical, emotional, and spiritual empowerment of the people of Roatán, Honduras. Rooted in the unshakable truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our mission is to bring hope, healing, and transformation to the island by being the hands and feet of Jesus in every community we touch.
We are called to be the human expression of the very heart of God, responding to His command to care for the poor, the oppressed, and the brokenhearted. This means more than providing temporary relief—it means building lasting relationships and creating long-term solutions that reflect God’s love and justice.
Our ministry is built upon three core pillars:

Education – We believe education is a pathway out of poverty. HIO is committed to providing access to quality learning opportunities for children and adults alike, equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to build a better future.
